ANPA Chapter Resources

The Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas largely runs on the philanthropic volunteerism of our physician, dental and healthcare members. Given the nature of our jobs, ANPA recognizes the need for support staff to keep the wheels grinding. Further, we understand that running a chapter is not without its own unique challenges.

The chapter resources page was created to help trouble shoot some of the most common needs of our chapters and their leadership.  It provides things like how to utilize our support staff, the detail of what services are available to help local chapters run their organization, recommended events and more.

Administrative & Support Staff

ANPA has partnered with TMD Management to provide our central staffing needs and serve as a resource to the needs of our local chapters.

CEO of TMD Management, Latisha Dutch, has worked with ANPA since 2015. The TMD Management team brings multiple skill sets and services to the table including: association management, administrative services and event management. To learn more about the TMD Management team visit:

ANPA Chapters are provided the following services through TMD management:

TURNAROUND TIMES FOR SERVICES REQUESTED

Approved by TMD Management

Please submit your request to TMD management at no later than 30 days in advance of your in-person event. 45-60 days is generally recommended.

Please submit your request to TMD management no later than 14 days in advance of your event and please allow for a 3-4 day turnaround from your request to delivery.

Please allow for a 7 day turnaround from request to delivery.

Please request no later than 48 hours before your meeting.

Please request no later than 48 hours before your meeting and allow for a 3-4 days turnaround for meeting minutes to be delivered.

Recommended Events

To reflect our membership benefits, we each chapter provide THREE (3) categories of events to your chapter members:

  • professional growth events
  • volunteerism events
  • fun/family events

A survey sent to ANPA members and non-members revealed these events are what motivate or interest existing & potential members. It is recommended to host at least 1-2 events in each category per year.

Communication

  2. Be mindful of turnaround times for any requests from central staff
  3. Give ANPA regular feedback. Our goal is to empower our chapters to grow and succeed. Feedback from our chapters are necessary. If you would like to leave feedback, click the button below
  4. Regularly attend ANPA Chapter chair meetings. These meetings are conducted to share information from Nationals to local leaders and are very important to attend.
  5. Communication from Nationals should be sent to all the officers of each chapter to optimize information sharing. Please be sure the email and phone contact for your chapter officers are clearly provided to our central staff.
