North Texas

About our Chapter
Founded in 2000, ANPA North Texas is proud to serve as the Lone Star state’s largest chapter. We are privileged to fly ANPA’s flag in Texas, the state with the highest Nigerian born population and largest number of residents who report Nigerian ancestry. We promote bonding and friendship among all Nigerian physicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
We pride ourselves on fostering personal and professional growth of members through camaraderie, social events, and often spirited exchanges of ideas. Our chapter engages in multiple community outreach programs throughout the year. We also welcome new physicians into the community, encourage participation in our local referral network, and assist in career development particularly those seeking residency positions. ANPA North Texas believes in a strength in numbers approach to creating a “healthier Nigeria in a healthier world.” To that end we have developed collaborative relationships with local Nigerian allied health organizations to better help meet the needs of our community.
Our recent events con’t: We have hit the ground running in 2022 resuming in-person general meetings that occur bimonthly and our annual summer picnic at a local water park. The venue at the latter event allowed members to bring their family and kids to mingle, share a meal, and escape the Texas heat.
