ANPA Donates Protective Equipment Against Ebola to First Responders.

President of ANPA, Dr Nkem Chukwumerije, said:

“We are really appreciative of what has been done by FCMC (First Consultant Medical Center) as the epicenter of Ebola and what they had done to control the spread. We have come to congratulate them for the good work that was done here. It was the good work that saved the rest of us in the country. One of the things we started doing was to make a drive for monetary support to procure PPEs from our members. We are also very proud of what we did and we are preparing for the future. We want a situation where we will be proactive and not reactive. We are happy that the PPEs will be distributed to all parts of the country as a pilot. The PPEs are worth $60,000. As I said, it is our pilot. We are capable of doing more. Our appeal is that we move fast to distribute these PPEs nationwide.”
