Thank you to everyone who donated and supported ‘ A Toy For Joy.’ This project would not have been possible without your help. We are excited to say that we raised over 200 toys and over 600 dollars these past months. We were able to personally drop the toys off at the Florida Hospital For Children on Saturday and it was truly an enlightening experience.

The coordinators of Child Life were pleased to see so many new toys. They even explained to us the various ways the toys we donated will be used. This included giving the children presents on their Birthday and Christmas as well as using them to celebrate major milestones such as a the completion of chemotherapy treatments. We also were able to meet one of the children at the hospital. Her name was Ashlee and she was 13 years old. It felt amazing to see her eyes light up when we brought the new toys.

Overall, we just want to say thanks again. We are so appreciative of all that has been donated and the guidance of ANPA Florida Chapter. We have attached some photos we took at the hospital and the link to the newspaper article in the Ocala Star Banner about our project is below. Happy Holidays!
