Benefits of Membership

• Membership in ANPA provides an opportunity for meaningful professional, personal, social and community engagement within our United States based communities and internationally.
  
  
• High level CME opportunities are provided through attendance at the Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly . ANPA facilitates personal consultations for its membership with financial planners and financial institutions and practice management consultants to enable personal and professional financial security.
  
  
• ANPA members and other Nigerian physicians, dentists and allied health providers are eligible to participate in a Group Purchasing Program that leverages the purchasing power of a large professional medical organization.
  
  
• A young physician program is available through our education committee to provide mentoring and guidance to physicians and dentists in training seeking career direction or job placement opportunities.
  
  
• Alumni networking provide forums for maintaining social and professional contacts with former classmates and colleagues from prior medical and dental schools.
  
  
• Membership provides value in enabling cultural preservation and patriotic expression among Nigerian medical professionals.
  
  
• Members are encouraged to participate in medical missions to Nigeria, where they can truly “make a difference” in underserved communities.

Regular Membership in ANPA is open to all licensed Medical Doctors, Osteopathic Doctors, Dentists,Chiropractic Doctors and Podiatrists of Nigerian ethnicity or empathy in the United States, Canada, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Associate Membership is open to Medical Residents, Physician Extenders, Registered Nurses and Pharmacistsand other practicing members of medical or allied health professions of Nigerian ethnicity or empathy, who do not otherwise qualify for regular membership.

Affiliate Membership in ANPA is open to medical, dental, chiropractic and podiatric trainees of Nigerian ethnicity or empathy in accredited training programs in the United States, Canada, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
