Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA)
Fifteenth Annual Conference and Scientific Assembly,
Abuja, Nigeria
July 15 to 19, 2009

Program Committee Members: Dr. Adedeji Adefuye, Dr. Ola Akinboboye, Dr. Osaretin Idusuyi, Dr. Ernest Madu, Dr. Enyi Okereke, and Dr. Ajovi Scott-Emuapor

We have chosen as our theme for this year’s conference, Health Care and National Development. This theme gives us an opportunity to view health and health care as critical components of development and allows us to expose the interrelatedness of Health with other social ends, such as education, productivity, political stability and broad justice. One big reason why we have chosen to take our 15th annual convention to Nigeria in 2009 is our belief that this exposure may increase our ability to have some influence on policies related to Health. Another reason is that we wanted an environment conducive to a meaningful relationship with our courageous colleagues who have remained at home to continue the delivery of healthcare to our brothers and sisters. We also wanted to showcase our mission, A healthier Nigeria in a Healthier World,  and to salute all those who have contributed to a healthier Nigeria.

The ANPA Preferred Group Purchasing Program

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA) and Henry Schein Inc, we are pleased to inform you that ANPA has entered into a formal relationship with Henry Schein, Inc to create the ANPA Preferred Group Purchasing Program

The ANPA Preferred Group Partnership Program is designed to provide added value to our members by providing significant savings off Henry Schein’s usual pricing for medical and surgical equipment and other medical office practice supplies. The program is open not only to registered ANPA members, but also to all physicians and dentists and other healthcare providers of Nigerian descent practicing medicine in the United States. There is no enrollment fee, and no predetermined financial commitment levels to participate in this program.

Both ANPA and Henry Schein are excited to provide this opportunity to the ANPA current and potential membership. For further information on this program, please click here.
